Volunteer today

Tutors wanted. Job skills needed.

Making new friends. Sharing in life’s experiences. Being a part of the education solution. Volunteers tell us time and again that they get back as much (or more) from tutoring at
DLC than they give.

We’re always in need of more reading and math tutors.
There’s no experience necessary, we’ll give you all the training you need. You meet one-to-one with a learner, either at the center or remotely for 2 hours each week. Add lesson prep time and drive time (if you tutor at our center) and we estimate a commitment of 6 hours a week. Volunteer your smarts and start making a difference today.

“People bring their best self forward, and if we can help
them bring an even better self forward then that’s a
blessing.”
