All donations go directly toward offering educational opportunities to adults in reading, writing, listening, speaking, math and basic computer skills, GED preparation and workforce development. Donations are used for supplies including textbooks, workbooks, tutor manuals, classroom supplies, pens, pencils, notebooks, online
instruction subscriptions and operational costs.
Dominican Literacy Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is an outreach ministry of the Adrian Dominican Sisters. DLC is supported by federal grants – WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act), NOF (Neighborhood Opportunity Fund), by
foundations, civic and religious organizations, and by generous donors.
